Seniorcare at Clerkenwell Design Week 2025: design, innovation, and meaningful care
From May 20th to 22nd, Seniorcare took part in Clerkenwell Design Week, one of the most prominent international events in the field of design. Our main goal at this year’s edition was to showcase the latest innovations in furniture for care environments, reaffirming our commitment to design that enhances people’s quality of life.
Over the course of three intense days, we had the opportunity to share our two new collections with industry professionals. Both were conceived under a shared philosophy: to create spaces that foster care through functionality, aesthetics, and holistic well-being.
CALA AND WAVE: two complementary visions of the same commitment
Cala, designed by Alegre Design, is a family of armchairs with timeless, elegant lines, conceived to offer maximum comfort in high-use environments. Crafted from solid beech wood and finished with premium materials, its ergonomic design — enhanced by injected foam in the seat, backrest, and headrest — ensures a lasting and welcoming experience for the user.
Wave, a collection by Odosdesign, stands out for its fluid and adaptable design. With an enveloping structure, rounded profiles, and a practical integrated handle that facilitates mobility, Wave offers versatile and functional solutions for the new models of healthcare spaces.
Both collections reflect a shared vision: design as a transformative tool in the realm of care, capable of creating environments that are more human, efficient, and emotionally engaging.
A space for dialogue, inspiration, and forward thinking.
Beyond showcasing our products, our participation in Clerkenwell Design Week was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, connect with professionals from diverse disciplines, and explore the trends that are shaping the present and future of care-centered design.
We are grateful to everyone who stopped by our stand, discovered our proposals, and shared their insights. Each conversation strengthens our belief in the power of purposeful design.
Design shaped by a deep sense of care.
Events like Clerkenwell Design Week reinforce our commitment to design that goes beyond functionality: design that listens, understands, and responds to real human needs.
We return with renewed inspiration, new connections, and the motivation to keep developing solutions that contribute to well-being, starting from what matters most: how we inhabit and care for the spaces around us.
