1. Introduction
SENIORCARE INTERIORS, S.L. (hereinafter, SENIORCARE) is a family-owned business with over 30 years of experience. Since our inception, we have consistently focused on ensuring that each client not only receives high-quality products but also personalized and professional service.
All the experience accumulated over the years allows SENIORCARE to offer collections crafted by a team who meticulously attends to every detail, upholding the highest standards of quality.
Since its inception, SENIORCARE has aimed to bring the brightness and vibrancy characteristic of its homeland. The harmonious and radiant tones present in its collections are an expression of its identity and are complemented by a wide range of upholstery and varnishing options, all designed to provide personalized and unique results.
SENIORCARE has an unwavering commitment to quality, which is why each piece of furniture is meticulously designed from conception to final finishes. To achieve this, only top-quality materials are used, ensuring the durability of the product in environments with intensive use.
SENIORCARE produces locally, seamlessly blending traditional craftsmanship with the latest technology to offer the best of both worlds. As a result, all products are manufactured in Spain and proudly bear the “Made in Spain” label.
The company’s goal is always to exceed our clients’ expectations, by offering solutions that integrate quality, functionality, and sustainability. Each piece of furniture we manufacture reflects our commitment to enhancing the well-being of patients and the elderly while caring for the environment.
Since the inception of SENIORCARE we have firmly positioned ourselves in support of human rights and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), consistently adhering to the fundamental values and principles of conduct.
Regarding the structure of this Code of Conduct, SENIORCARE aims to establish minimum behavioural standards applicable to all personnel, serving as a guide to prevent the commission of crimes or offenses in all areas. Quality, differentiation, and performance are fundamental aspects of our corporate culture, and it is essential to be aware of the responsibility each individual holds and the need to continuously meet their commitments. By building the core pillars of its working approach, SENIORCARE seeks to foster relationships with partners who demonstrate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and environmental awareness, ensuring respect for human rights and upholding business ethics.
Through this Code of Conduct, based on ethics and extending beyond strict legal compliance, SENIORCARE clarifies the company’s values and principles, while aligning expectations regarding the accepted culture and behaviour. Compliance with this Code of Conduct is mandatory and will be communicated and disseminated by SENIORCARE to all its employees, as well as to third parties for whom it may be relevant.
2. Values, mission and principles of SENIORCARE
SENIORCARE not only aims to comply with current legislation but also establishes as one of its goals the constant and gradual implementation of criteria, practices, and recommendations related to good corporate governance and a sustainable and responsible model. Therefore, in this Code, SENIORCARE outlines the company’s general conduct guidelines, with the purpose of promoting business ethics and transparency, and it will serve as a unifying tool for its principles and values, applied with the conviction and peace of mind that comes from doing the right thing.
Among the values and principles that define what is important for SENIORCARE and what it is truly committed to, the following stand out:

To this end, the commitments that SENIORCARE undertakes are:
1. Corporate Governance and Ethics:
SENIORCARE‘s actions are grounded in the values of integrity, excellence, trust, sustainability, and profitability, ensuring the creation of shared value for all stakeholders and promoting sustainable, profitable growth for its shareholders. At SENIORCARE, there is a strong commitment to being a socially responsible company, actively promoting initiatives that demonstrate their dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Specifically, SENIORCARE is committed to fulfilling the following obligations:
- Avoid business activities that may result in a conflict or interfere with the agreed products and services.
- Fulfill all commitments made.
- Apply responsible guidelines in advertising, sales, and competition law.
- Do not accept or offer any form of compensation, whether monetary or in kind, that could exceed symbolic value or mere courtesy.
- Do not accept or offer any form of bribery, whether monetary or in kind, and maintain an active stance against corruption, crime prevention, and money laundering.
2. Compliance with and respect for current legislation:
All SENIORCARE employees must comply with the laws of the countries in which the company operates, respect their intent and purpose, and act ethically in all their activities. The company will not tolerate any violations, especially those with a potential criminal dimension. No employee should engage in non-compliance, even in isolated cases or those of negligible economic impact.
At SENIORCARE, court orders are strictly followed. Compliance with laws and regulations is essential. Therefore, all members of the workforce must adhere to the established rules and procedures and apply them in all activities carried out within the company or on its behalf. It is the duty and responsibility of every employee to know, understand, and comprehend their social role within the company.
3. Rights of individuals and equal treatment:
The structure of SENIORCARE consists of a diverse team covering key areas of the company, including sales, operations, IT, warehouse, production, technical service, marketing, product development, finance, and human resources. The people working here are provided with equal opportunities for growth in a harmonious and respectful environment, which extends to both customers and suppliers.
SENIORCARE aims to make work a satisfying and rewarding experience, while all employees understand that their roles and responsibilities are subject to the professional and ethical requirements defined by the company.
4. Respects for human and labour rights
SENIORCARE reaffirms its commitment to and alignment with the human and labour rights recognized in both national and international legislation, as well as with the principles outlined in the United Nations Global Compact. The company adheres to international standards for the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms for individuals impacted by its activities.
Therefore, SENIORCARE is committed to:
- Ensuring that employees’ rights are respected in accordance with applicable legislation.
- Respecting the freedom of union association and the right to collective bargaining of workers, in accordance with applicable legislation.
- Respecting the social and cultural context of each country, promoting equal opportunities and rejecting any form of discrimination based on race, colour, sexual orientation, marital status, family responsibilities, age, religion, gender, disability, hierarchy, or any other characteristic.
- Paying employees a salary that complies, at a minimum, with applicable wage laws and clearly informing them of their contractual conditions.
- Providing employees with all legally mandated benefits.
- Ensuring that workers comply with applicable laws and industry standards.
Specifically, SENIORCARE expresses its total rejection of child labour and any form of forced, compulsory, or coerced labour, and is committed to respecting freedom of association and collective bargaining. Therefore, it will not tolerate child labour, will not engage in child labour, nor will it incorporate any products or services derived from it into its business activities in any of the countries where it operates. SENIORCARE will ensure compliance with the International Labour Organization (ILO) provisions regarding the employment of minors and will require all employees and suppliers to strictly adhere to this principle.
In this regard, SENIORCARE is committed to:
- Strongly rejecting the use of child labour in its organization and implementing a control system to ensure that the ages of employees comply with the hiring criteria established by applicable legislation.
- Actively contributing to the eradication of exploitation, as well as establishing policies, procedures, and measures focused on the protection of children.
- Identifying employees working in areas where cases of child rights violations may be detected and promoting training and education measures for these employees to identify and report incidents to local authorities.
- Reporting any incident or potential risk to child safety to local authorities, both within the organization and in its surrounding environment.
5. Employment conditions and labour standards:
Through responsible human resources management, SENIORCARE is committed to the well-being of its employees.
In all its operations, SENIORCARE strictly complies with all applicable national laws and regulations, primarily Spanish labour legislation and the Spanish Labour Regulations specific to the Furniture Sector. It is also committed to relevant international agreements and recommendations for its activity, such as the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
6. Compensation and working hours:
Employees are expected to work efficiently during working hours, optimizing the time and resources that SENIORCARE provides, striving to add maximum value in all processes they participate in, and adhering to the procedures established for each activity. During the designated working hours, employees will be responsible for using their time for work-related purposes.
Specifically, the selection and promotion of SENIORCARE staff is based on competencies and performance in professional functions, merit-based criteria, and the capabilities defined in the job requirements. Fair and reasonable remuneration for employees is supported, which is fully compliant with legislation, including the minimum wage, where applicable.
SENIORCARE promotes the professional and personal development of all its employees, ensuring equal opportunities through its action policies. Additionally, it supports and is committed to the implementation of established policies to foster greater equality of opportunities.
7. Workplace, health, and safety:
SENIORCARE strives to provide a healthy and safe environment within its organization, understanding that fostering such an environment creates a positive atmosphere that benefits everyone. However, it is the responsibility of each employee to ensure and respect the rules regarding workplace safety and hygiene and to correctly use the equipment and facilities to which they have access.
In this regard, SENIORCARE is committed to:
- Providing the necessary measures to employees to ensure a safe, healthy, and hygienic work environment.
- Monitoring that employees strictly adhere to all safety and hygiene measures in the workplace, particularly regarding their exposure to hazardous substances or actions, and ensuring the presence of control systems or guidelines to mitigate or minimize any risks.
- Establishing mechanisms and providing accident prevention tools with the aim of developing response procedures to minimize potential impacts.
- Fostering and implementing a safety and health culture among its employees by providing training and information on preventive measures, resources, and action guidelines.

8. Sustainability and Environment:
Conscious of its responsibility towards the environment, SENIORCARE not only creates beautiful products that enhance the lives of those who use them but also makes every effort to ensure that the entire production process is sustainable.
Specifically, SENIORCARE undertakes various actions to offer products manufactured with high sustainability standards, such as:
- High-quality products with a long lifespan:
We create products that, due to their quality, maintain a long lifespan, thereby minimizing waste generation. Starting with a responsible design which aims for each product to have a long-life cycle. Therefore, we create timeless designs that, along with a careful selection of premium materials, ensure high durability even in intensive-use environments.
The quality of our products is certified by independent laboratories such as AIDIMME and CETEM, following international quality standards. Additionally, SENIORCARE works closely with the Institute of Biomechanics of Valencia (IBV) to ensure excellence in every detail.
- Careful selection of raw materials:
From the conception of a new collection, SENIORCARE carefully selects each material involved in the manufacturing process. We check its origin, production process, environmental impact, durability, quality, and the recyclability of each component. Furthermore, whenever possible, we work with local suppliers to reduce the carbon footprint and foster long-term trust-based relationships.
– Wood:
SENIORCARE prioritizes the use of wood over other, less eco-friendly materials. We work with suppliers committed to forest protection and sustainability. All the wood used by SENIORCARE is certified by FSC and PEFC and is carefully selected to ensure that solid structures achieve an optimal balance between aesthetics and durability.
- Fabrics:
SENIORCARE collaborates with leading companies in fabrics for care and healthcare environments, all of which are ecologically certified according to EU regulations. These certifications ensure not only compliance with high environmental standards but also a strong commitment to quality. Throughout the production process, SENIORCARE‘s suppliers use advanced technologies in their manufacturing plants to minimize environmental impact, make efficient use of natural resources, and prevent the release of harmful by-products into the environment.
- Certifications:
The commitment to continuous improvement, product quality, and the environment is reflected in the implementation of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. These certifications ensure that processes meet the highest international standards, guaranteeing both excellence in quality management and responsibility in environmental management.
9. Anti-bribery and corruption:
SENIORCARE demands compliance with all applicable laws prohibiting bribery, especially the bribery of public officials, including the Spanish Penal Code, the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the UK Bribery Act, and any other anti-corruption legislation that may apply, not only in Spain but also in the countries where SENIORCARE operates. The company mandates adherence to all pertinent laws and regulations, including those related to lobbying and anti-corruption.
Therefore, individuals and legal entities subject to this Code must act in accordance with the applicable laws, and under no circumstances may they resort to or tolerate bribery from third parties towards any SENIORCARE company, its employees, or vice versa. They must not receive, offer, or deliver, directly or indirectly, any cash payment, in-kind benefits, or any other advantage, to any person serving any public or private entity, political party, or candidate for public office, with the intention of obtaining or maintaining, unlawfully, business or other advantages.
It is important to highlight that SENIORCARE does not use misleading or falsified information to obtain subsidies or any other type of assistance or advantages. Therefore, SENIORCARE employees must ensure that public aid, subsidies, and other funds from which SENIORCARE benefits are used exclusively and diligently for the purpose for which they were granted.
10. Anti-discrimination and harassment:
SENIORCARE guarantees all employees equal treatment, respect, and non-discrimination based on race, age, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or any other circumstance protected by law. The company believes that diversity is a value for teams and an opportunity for organizations. Furthermore, it rejects any form of harassment, whether physical, verbal, or emotional. All employees have the right and responsibility to report any discriminatory or harassing behaviour, and the company will act diligently to investigate and take appropriate measures in this regard.
11. Communication and training:
Effective communication and training are the most effective ways for everyone at SENIORCARE to familiarize themselves with the company’s policies, processes, procedures, and overall culture. Communication must be clear, continuous, and directed at the different levels of employees.
All employees must be trained on the Code of Conduct, and those whose roles require it will receive additional, more frequent, and in-depth training to ensure they perform their duties appropriately.
12. Corporate image:
The corporate image of the company is crucial for SENIORCARE, as it reflects its identity and values. For this reason, all employees are responsible for protecting and promoting the values of integrity, honesty, sincerity, equality, and respect, both within and outside the company. Any misuse or behaviour that could damage the image of SENIORCARE will be addressed with the utmost seriousness.
13. Confidentiality and protection of personal data:
Protecting and safeguarding the company’s clients’, and/or suppliers’ information is the responsibility of each employee, and it should never be provided to any third party unless required by law or authorized by a superior.
For the proper use of personal data, SENIORCARE employees must comply with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016, concerning the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), as well as Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
14. Conflict of interest and transparency:
All decisions made by SENIORCARE employees must be based on the best interests of the company and never on personal interests.
Therefore, when selecting collaborators and/or suppliers at SENIORCARE, the process will always be based exclusively on professional criteria and never influenced by personal gain.
If, in the course of their duties, a SENIORCARE employee is in a position to hire a collaborator or supplier with whom they have family or personal ties, potentially raising concerns about the objectivity of the decision, they must immediately inform their direct supervisor. The decision will always be made in alignment with the company’s values.
Therefore, at SENIORCARE it is prohibited to:
- Obtain personal gain for oneself or for a third party.
- Offer, give, request, or accept gifts, credits, rewards, commissions, or other incentives.
- Allowing the personal interests of employees to interfere with or attempt to interfere with the interests of the company.
- Any external activity that hinders and/or complicates the achievement of the company’s objectives.
15. Non-compliance:
Each employee of SENIORCARE must ensure compliance with all provisions of this Code, as it is necessary to uphold the highest standards of integrity, given that responsibility is personal for each employee and cannot be delegated. In case of any doubts, employees should be guided by the basic principles outlined in this Code. Any violation of this Code may result in disciplinary action, including the possibility of dismissal, and, if applicable, the initiation of legal proceedings or the imposition of criminal penalties.
